History
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Chu Sau Cheung Nursing Home, being a contract home of which the operation was obtained through successful bidding and also fourth of its kind under the auspice of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, commenced its operation in August 2015.
Objective
The Home is committed to providing quality service in accommodation, personal care and nursing care to elderly who have poor health and have limited self-care ability. Through the provision of professional services, diversified activities and adequate facilities under a homely environment, the elderly are under holistic care for leading a meaningful and dignified living in the Home.
Facilities
The Home provides totally 150 capacities including 90 Subsidised place and 60 Non-subsidised. Each dormitory bedroom can accommodate 6 residents in a shared room with a self-contained washroom and bathroom. Other Facilities include Sitting Area, Dining Rooms, Rehabilitation Room, Sensory Training Room, Group Activity/ Counselling Room, Wandering Path, Reminiscence Corner and Carer Resource Corner. The Home is also equipped with computers with WiFi for residents' use and relatives to make video call.
Service Recipients
- Elders aged 65 or above;
- Those aged between 60-64 with proven needs can also apply for admission;
- Lack of self-care ability due to poor health or illness;
- Free from contagious disease;
- Mentally suitable for communal living.
