The HKSAR Government has regularized the “Smart Silver” ICT Outreach Programme for Elders (Outreach Programme) since 2018-19. Our organization is honored to be selected again as the implementing agency for the 2025-26 period subsequent to the operation contract of 2023-25. Through a variety of engaging activities, the program aims to help elderly embrace digital living and bridge the digital divide. Mobile outreach service station activities will also be organized across all districts in Hong Kong to introduce elderly individuals to commonly used mobile applications, address queries related to smartphone usage, and provide guidance on fraud prevention and cybersecurity.

●Digital Training and Support: To deliver digital training and support to teach elders how to use digital devices and applications, enhancing their connection to digital life;

●Digital Resource Hubs: To establish resource hubs equipped with various digital devices, offering on-site teaching to encourage elderly to explore and master digital technologies;

●Smart Pet-Assisted Care: To provide emotional companionship for elderly with dementia through smart pets, while supporting physical rehabilitation training; and

●Home-Based Training System: To offer home-based systems integrating physical exercise and cognitive training to promote the physical and mental well-being of the elderly.
