Introduction

Since 2022, Elderly Services Section has implemented the "Dementia Got Talent" Promotion Scheme, which focuses on a Strength-based Intervention approach. This program shifts from focusing on the limitations of patients with cognitive impairments to using professional assessments of the elderly's cognitive abilities and interests to explore their potential and value. This enhances the elderly's sense of self-efficacy and strengthens their active participation and cognitive stimulation in daily life, thereby reducing behavioral problems and functional decline that may occur during the degenerative process.

• Cognitive abilities and interest assessments for elderly individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Funding and coordinating with various elderly service units to provide suitable activities for patients with cognitive impairments.
