11th JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme
Since 2014, The Hong Kong Jockey Club has been collaborating with Manchester United and the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals to introduce the JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme (the Scheme), curating Hong Kong's first football-powered leadership and community service programme for teenagers aged 15-19. The Scheme is now supported by donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for programme operation.
The JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme encompasses a comprehensive programme, including football event organisation workshop and thematic workshops led by star mentors. These workshops enhance the physical, mental and social abilities of young individuals, both on and off the pitch.
Over 480 young people have participated in our programme and over 54 outstanding young leaders have joined the exchange tour to Manchester.
The 11th JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme not only invites star mentors from various sectors to share their experiences and leadership qualities, but also introduces diverse team-building activities such as dragon boat training and competitions, aiming to strengthen young leaders’ perseverance and foster team spirit.
The JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme will be held from January to June 2026. It is free of charge. Young people who are passionate about football and eager to challenge themselves are warmly encouraged to join. Let’s empower your growth and unlock your leadership potential through football.
