Introduction

The project is a collaboration between the "UPBEAT" and the "Strive and Rise Alumni Club" to establish the first cross-generational a cappella band in Hong Kong, named "TEEN·AGE". Since the establishment of UPBEAT in 2016, it has been promoting active ageing through music. UPBEAT members engaged in continuous training and actively participate in community services, demonstrating innovation and vitality in TWGHs elderly services. Through cross-generational music exchanges, young old and teenagers engage in meaningful A-Cappella interactions. Through community involvement, arts education, and public performances, the project promotes active ageing and holistic youth development, integrating culture, arts, and civic participation to reshape the value of cross-generational harmony.
