Introduction

To continuously care for the grief and mental health of bereaved families, TWGHs “Endless Care Services” Bereavement Support Service has joined the “Compassionate Support Programme for Bereaved Families”, initiated by the Advisory Committee on Mental Health and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. In coordination with the “One Social Worker Per Household” of Social Welfare Department, the project has provided bereaved families with funeral and practical support, grief counseling, and remembrance activities during festive seasons. These services aim to ease the sorrow and anxiety caused by the loss of loved ones and accompany families through difficult times. TWGHs also offers professional assessments and referred bereaved cases with severe mental health risks to clinical psychologists or psychiatrists for in-depth mental health support.
