Integrated Centre on Smoking Cessation (Wanchai Main Office)

History

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Integrated Centre on Smoking Cessation was established on 1 January 2009 with the subvention of the Department of Health. The existing service points are established in Wan Chai, Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan, Wong Tai Sin and mobile clinic. It provides community-based smoking cessation treatment focused on both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Medical Doctors, Nurses, Counselors & Social Workers.

Objective

• To assist tobacco users in quitting and healthy lifestyle establishment
• To educate the public on hazards of tobacco use (including hazards of second hand smoke and third hand smoke)
