Wong Cho Tong Care & Attention Home

History

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Wong Cho Tong Care and Attention Home is situated at Wong Cho Tong Social Service Building in Homantin. In order to thank for the generous donation of HK$16,500,000 from Mr. Wong Cho Tong, the Building thereby named as Mr. Wong Cho Tong Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Wong Cho Tong Social Service Building and the Centre as Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Wong Cho Tong Care and Attention Home. The centre is the largest scale Care and Attention Home under Tung Wah Group of Hospitals providing quality residental service to the residents.

Objective

The Home is committed to providing quality service in accommodation, personal care and nursing care to elderly who have weak health and have limited self-care ability. Through the provision of professional services, diversified activities and adequate facilities under a homely environment, the residents are believed to receive holistic care by leading a meaningful and dignified living in the Home.

Environment
The Home is located in the Ho Man Tin District with comfortable surroundings.

Bedrooms
Each room is self-contained with washroom and bathroom.

Other facilities
In addition, there are activity rooms, resource room, interview rooms, reminiscence corner, computer corner and reading corner to meet with residents' individual needs. Furthermore, the specially designed rehabilitation garden for the residents to relax and enjoy their tea time as well as gardening. Besides, physiotherapy room, occupational therapy room, multi-sensory room provide appropriate facilities for rehabilitation of residents. The home is also equipped with visual clinic and nurse duty room.

Service Recipients

Elders aged 65 or above who lacks self-care ability due to poor health or illness, free from contagious disease and mentally suitable for communal living.

Those aged between 60-64 with proven needs can also apply.
