History
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Mr. Lo Hung Cheuk & Mrs. Lo Wong Yuk Man Neighbourhood Elderly Centre commenced its service in November 2023, serving the elders and carers living in Wo Tin, Ching Tin and Yan Tin Estates and villages nearby, Tuen Mun. The Centre is the seventh Neighbourhood Elderly Centre of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.
Objective
- To encourage elders to lead an active life, make good use of their leisure time and develop their full potentials, so as to actualize the spirit of "productive ageing"
- To help elders resolve personal, family and other problem they encountered in daily life
- To provide community support services for elder carers
Facilities
- Advance gym and sports equipment encouraging elders’ exercise habits
- Carer support room with open pantry
- The leisure activities room is equipped with television and videos, magazines and newspapers, and carer resources corner etc
Service Recipients
- Aged 60 or above elderly persons
- Carers for the elderly persons
