History
Lok Ching Community Mental Health Education and Promotion Service Center (CMHEPSC) commences on August 2018. It aims to enhance the mental health of ex-mentally ill, carers and the general public. We emphasize to foster a respectful, accepting and integrated society.
Objective
- Improves the mental health literacy of the general public through public education and online mental health promotion so to achieve the goal “Early Identification, Early Intervention”
- Empower the ex-mentally ill through the Peer Support Service and to foster the recovery
- Provides mental health assessment, intervention and other supporting service to those who aged below 18 (including students and carers of mentally-ill) and to build a mutual support network
- Increase the public awareness towards mental health and build a caring, compassionate and cohesive community
Service Recipients
People who are :
- suspected to have mental health problem or mental health challenge
- carers of a mentally-ill
- want to have further understanding on mental health
