History
Jockey Club Tsin Yin Hostel commenced operation in November 1997.
Objective
To provide residential service to persons with intellectual disability, aiming at strengthening their independent living skills and enhancing their quality of life, achieving the concept of integration and sharing the care-giving responsibility with their families.
Facilities
The centre consists of 10 dormitories, 4 training rooms, a group room, a quiet room, a sitting room & a dining room. Besides, there are communal facilities include the multi-purpose hall, central kitchen, central laundry, car pool, tuck shop and kiosk. Individuals in need can use the central occupational therapy rooms, physiotherapy rooms, hydro-pool and multi-sensory room.
Service Recipients

Aged 15 or above with low moderate to severe grade of intellectual disability who are able to follow simple instruction

Free from acute medical condition or contagious disease

No serious aggressive behavior
