The Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project: Unison (TWGHs Palliative and EOL Care Service for PWDs)
- Provide direct services for disabilities with terminal care needs and their families, encompassing medical care, spiritual support, and practical assistance
- Implement an interdisciplinary collaborative service model, involving government healthcare institutions and the funeral industry, to offer comprehensive care for beneficiaries
- Recruit volunteers to provide companionship and aromatherapy massage services for beneficiaries
- Offer professional training for care staff, as well as to enhance the skills of caregivers and volunteers in providing terminal care
- Raise public awareness of the care needs of individuals with disabilities through diverse end-of-life education activities, workshops, and promotional materials
