Introduction
In response to the manpower shortage and the ageing workforce in the care service sector, the Social Welfare Department has granted the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals the opportunity to implement the Navigation Scheme for Young Persons in Care Services ("the Scheme").This initiative aims to provide employment and training opportunities, including a two-year part-time subsidized course and a two-year job placement across various elderly and rehabilitation service units, for young people interested in pursuing a career in the care service sector. Through on-the-job training, participants will develop their skills along an established career path.
