Service Characteristics

Multi-disciplinary collaboration
To provide a one-stop comprehensive assessment and treatment program for people with multiple addictions, ICAPT has recruited a multi-disciplinary team consisting of psychiatrist, social workers, clinical psychologist and psychiatric nurse.

Person-centered instead of symptom centered
Our professional team will adopt a systematic approach in treating multiple addictions. Services rendered include psychological assessment, counselling and psychotherapy, physical examination and pharmacological treatment. Individual counselling and psychotherapy, family-based interventions, group treatment, interest development and vocational counselling will also from part of our treatment model so as to facilitate a holistic rehabilitation.

Evidence Based Practices
ICAPT will conduct empirical research to validate our treatment protocol and prevention program with the ultimate goal of setting an evidence-based benchmark in the field of addiction treatment and prevention in Hong Kong and the South East Asia Region.
