History

The Social Welfare Department has commissioned Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) to operate Carer Hotline, which has started to commence operation on 26 September 2024.

Objectives

Provide carers with immediate counselling to relieve their stress from caregiving; alleviate their burdens by introducing relevant social services and making referrals accordingly; enhance their caregiving abilities and support networks within their communities.

Service Recipients

Carers of EPs (Elderly Persons) and Carers of PWDs (Persons with Disabilities/Persons in Mental Recovery)
