Foster Care Service

History

The Foster Care Service of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals commenced operation in April 2005. The number of places provided was increased from 20 to 25 in July 2005.

Objective

To provide temporary family care for children who lack family care until they can return to their homes or secure other long-term living arrangement

Service Recipients

Children under 18 who lack proper care by their families
