History
The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Parents Academy aims to provide developmental and preventive parental education programs. It offers comprehensive support in four core strands: “Understanding of Child and Adolescent Development”, “Promotion of Healthy, Happy and Balanced Development of Children and Adolescent”, “Promotion of Parents’ Physical and Psychological Well-being” and “Fostering Home-school Co-operation and Communication”.
Objectives
- Organize various types of parent education activities to enhance parents' understanding of children's and adolescents’ developmental needs and to promote their physical and psychological well-being, thereby fostering family harmony.
- Provide school-based support activities to promote cooperation and communication between the school and families, working together to build a safety net for protecting children.
Target
- Parents of students attending child care centres, kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools.
