History
The centre was found as Hing Wah Day Nursery in 1977 to provide care and educational services to young children. It was renamed Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Chiap Hua Cheng's Day Nursery on 27 August 1981 after a donation from the Chiap Hua Cheng's Foundation. It was relocated from Hing Wah Estate II to the present site in September 2001 upon development of child care services in the community. With the implementation of Harmonization of Pre-primary Services, the centre was registered under Education Bureau as Kindergarten-cum-Child Care Centre, namely Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Chiap Hua Cheng’s Nursery School, with effect from 1 September 2005.
