History
The centre commenced operation in 1988 to provide child care and educational services in Wong Tai Sin District. It was renamed Tung Wah Group of Hopitals Fong Shiu Yee Nursery School in 1993 after a donation from Fong Shu Fook Tong Foundation. With the implementation of Harmonization of Pre-primary Services, the centre was registered under Education Bureau as Kindergarten-cum-Child Care Centre with effect from 1 September 2005.
Objective

To provide a safe and caring environment where professional and trained teaching staff carefully nurture and educate children, enabling them to grow actively and healthily.

To promote the holistic development of children in areas such as social skills, intelligence, physical abilities, emotional well-being, aesthetic appreciation, and creativity.

To provide parent education services, assisting families in addressing the challenges of raising and caring for young children, enabling parents to work with peace of mind, and collaborating with parents to support children's growth.

To cultivate good living habits, a love for learning, and self-care skills in children.
Facilities
The nursery school has floor area of around 375 sq. m., which included 3 activity rooms, indoor playground, music room, kitchen, kid's lavatory and store room, etc.
Each activity room provides diverse age-appropriate learning areas for reading and writing, art and craft, dramatic play, exploration and science learning, construction play, Montessori toys, etc.
